Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics & Assembly Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our operations department, including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Logistics & Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including managing inventory, material requirements planning, production planning, shipping support., and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement logistics and assembly strategies to optimize efficiency reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the assembly process, ensuring that products are assembled to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and train logistics staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Improve warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Maintain the inventory management system and generate monthly inventory and financial reports.
  • Manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed.


You will report directly to our Director of Manufacturing & Operations.


Qualifications

Our operations team is agile and fast moving, and you will be expected to adapt to rapidly changing situations. We are looking for someone who is able to solve problems and find shortcuts, efficiencies, and build a team with a drive for continuous improvement. We strongly prefer that you have prior experience in relevant fields, but are willing to overlook any lack of experience for a relentless, hungry, and talented candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in logistics and assembly management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities, startup experience is a bonus.
